Coordinator of artisans of the Upper Guajira

Yasmin is one of the Wayuu women pioneers in leading the conformation of indigenous craft associations. Yasmin is a graduate in Ethnic Education and Social Project, with a specialization in Social Responsibility. Yasmine also weaved at a young age. She saw her grandmother knit Chinchorros a type of Hammock, her aunt weaved  mochilas, and the men in her family make the shoes (waireñas). Artisan work is part of history and therefore she has traced one of her missions to empower the new Wayuu generations of all the craftsmanship of their elders.
