In our journey of building the Waré Crafts brand, we have learned to discover and understand our customer’s needs and likes. We have acknowledged that they not only desire innovative art fusion designs but also love the traditional Wayúu icons called in Wayunaiki, the Wayúu native language, kanas. This is how the Apüshi brand was born. The word Apüshi means family which fitted perfectly for a sub-brand of Waré Crafts. Apüshi‘s purpose is to offer customers traditional Wayúu mochila bags that capture native designs woven in one or two threads. Special attention is put into finishing details such as the pompons, tassels, and straps.

We work with a selected pallet of colors appropriate to the fashion trends, easy to combine with your casual daily outfit, and practical to carry your essentials. We work to offer you an accessible traditional Colombian gift alternative, to share with your friends, loved ones, and business partners our culture, art, and tradition. We understand the satisfaction you feel when you gift someone, and a spontaneous smile appears, and the immediate reaction of wanting to wear the colorful bag.

Additionally, and in continuation, with the importance, we have given to traceability to the origin, our mochilas Apüshi carry on its strap the name of the community where it was made and a QR code that provides essential information for you to discover who made your bag.
