Senaida belongs to a new generation of artisans and  has been the pupil of Lorena Pushaina, also from the San Francisco community.

During the knitting of the mochilas, she expressed her love for the combination of colors. She has also explained that her biggest challenge of all has been to achieve the perfect geometry that we see from Patricia Quevedo’s designs but without a doubt her work never looks anything less than perfect.
